ECCRI CIC is excited to announce the release of our new guide on equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI).
This guide provides an overview of best practices for incorporating equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) into practical cybersecurity education, especially the Google.org European Cybersecurity Seminars program.
It includes an outline of what EDI is, why EDI matters for practical cybersecurity education, and explains how higher education institutions can incorporate EDI, especially without excessive collection of personal data.
The guide also provides best practices for putting EDI front and centre of each of the three steps of the Cybersecurity Seminars program: in university leadership, student training, and when engaging with local communities.
